"LAPITA" is a new resort hotel-type indoor festival which gives birth to the cultural exchange of up-and-coming artists who are active in Japan, Asia, and the world.
It will be held at "Hotel & Resorts MINAMIBOSO" in the town of Minamiboso, Chiba Prefecture.

This event is entitled “LAPITA” - takes its name from The people of ancient East Asian Lapita in Polynesia, who reportedly experienced a rhythmic session for the first time in the history of mankind and settled on the Pacific islands.

After recent years of disconnect and isolation, we are aiming to gather and re-connect with artists from various countries in Asia, from Veterans as well as up-and-coming new and young artists who will shape the next generation of the scene locally and globally.

We as the LAPITA team, want to support the younger generation to find, explore and inspire therefore we will have free 100 tickets for U25 as well as discounted tickets.
Hopefully that this event will be a place for the next generation of artists who will be responsible for Japan and Asia.

 "Hotel & Resorts MINAMIBOSO" is about 90 minutes from the city center. It is a resort hotel where you can enjoy hot springs and saunas in a great location overlooking the sea, standing in the park of Cape Obusa, the rich nature of Chiba Minamiboso.

TICKETS: 
Free ticket (under 25 years old, Number of tickets increasedlimited to 100 tickets)
Discount tickets 5,000 yen (limited to 25 and under)
Early-bird tickets 8,000 yen (limited quantity, will end when all tickets are gone)
Advance tickets 10,000 yen (price per ticket varies depending on the number of tickets purchased)

ACCOMMODATION:
20,000 yen per room (All rooms have a capacity of 4 persons and 36㎡)

* All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in the smoking area in the center of the building or on each floor.
* Check-in time is 3:00 pm. / Check-out time is 11:00 am.
* Luggage can be left in the room before check-in.
* Please contact the hotel directly for late check-out and extended stay.
* For late check-out, a fee of ￥3,630 per room per hour will be charged after 11:00, and guests are required to check out at 12:00 as a general rule.
* Customers wishing to extend their stay can make reservations through the hotel's official website. If you add that you are staying at the hotel from the previous night, the hotel will make arrangements to accommodate you so that there will be as little room change as possible.

[Notes on tickets]
● If you are under the age of 18, you can not enter (you can enter with your parents).
● For those under elementary school students, one person is free to enter with their parents.
● If the event ticket is sold out, there is no sale of tickets on the day.
● If you have a ticket under the age of 25, you will need to present it with a valid identification certificate with your face photo (not copy) at the entrance when you enter.
If you can not present it, you will need to pay the difference from the fee on the day at the entrance.
● All tickets are electronic tickets. Please present the electronic ticket screen to the venue staff and receive the wristband.
● We will not reissue the wristband if damaged or lost.
Please handle it carefully until the end of the festival and do not remove it.

[Notes on accommodation]
● Rooms ticket will be sold separately from the admission ticket.
In addition, those who do not have an event ticket cannot purchase it.
● Purchased rooms are provided with bedding and amenity towels for the guests number.
● Check-in is at 15:00(19th), check -out is at 11:00 the next day (20th).
From 11:00, the late check-out fee will be - 1 hour/ ¥3,630, and you will be checked out at 12:00 in principle.
● If you wish to stay overnight (on 20th), you can make a reservation from the official website of the hotel.
Please let the Hotel know you are staying for LAPITA FESTIVAL from the previous night, we arranged the hotel side so that there is no room change as much as possible.

[Notes on event]
● Re-entry is possible.
● If you act in a way that bothers other customers inside and outside the venue, or do not follow the instructions of the staff, you will be forcibly sent off. We will not refund the ticket at that time.
● Rainy weather except in the case of stormy weather such as typhoons, the event will take place as scheduled.
● There is no refund of tickets due to unavoidable changes in the management rules at our discretion or changing the performers, canceling of acts, cancellation during the actual performance, etc.
● Please note that you cannot change or cancel after purchase.
● In this event, we will take pictures and videos for promotion & other media material. Please note that you may be reflected in the shooting.

[Notes on forbidden items]
● Alcohol, cans, and glass bottles are not allowed.
● Things that can be dangerous goods and weapons, those that are annoying to other customers, those that may cause injuries, and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
● Since there is a luggage check when entering the venue, those that correspond to the prohibition of bringing in will be confiscated and discarded as soon as it is discovered.
● Soft drinks in containers other than cans and bottles are allowed.

[Regarding infectious disease prevention measures]
● The event will be held according to the guidelines for Corona measures set by the Health ministry.
● Entrance will not be allowed for those with a body temperature of 37.5 degrees or more, other poor physical conditions, and those who have become positive for the new virus infection before the event.
● Please make sure to wear non-woven masks, frequent disinfecting, and secure social distances to protect yourself and other customers & staff.
